Writers often talk about their core story. No matter what I'm writing, my stories are about life and the courage it takes to become more than who we are. In my heart, I believe there are moments every day, when the choices we make change that person forever. Those moments are part of that ruthless self-discovery that propels us toward the person we were born to be.
I write contemporary romance, women's fiction, and paranormal/fantasy romance. Stories about women, and the men who pursue them, searching for truth and family.
My recent novels include Jane's Long March Home, The London Affair, and soon to be published, The Dragon's Thief, the first book in a series of paranormal novels about a time in the future when life itself hangs in the balance. That future, with its window of time between the world falling apart and the thousand years of predicted peace, fascinates me. What if that future is not what we expect it to be? What if...in places where roads go nowhere, where life is fragile and no one walks but ghosts, a powerful evil is growing?
